Slotted Post Truss Head Retention Assembly – (SPTHRA)

Description

Commonly called black Chicago screw assemblies, the SPTHRA (Slotted Post Truss Head Retention Assembly) by HOLSTEX® is a black oxide coated slotted post assembly that creates adjustable retention in KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, or Boltaron® holsters, flashlight holders, and magazine carriers. It helps close the gap between the opposing material layers in common thermoform holster designs. It works by adding an EPDM rubber standoff washer between the material layers; tighten the included Phillips truss head screw to adjust the grip of the thermoform material against the holstered item. The 8-32 truss head screw is a HOLSTEX® exclusive with the thinnest edge available on this type of design, which minimizes surface irritation where the leading edge rubs against clothing or skin.
