At Faxon, we machine all our pistol barrels for Sig right here in Cincinnati, Ohio from stress- relieved 4150 CMV steel (Duty Series) or 416-R stainless steel (Match Series). We conventionally rifle all our barrels, which allows for the use of a wider range of ammunition, including cast lead.
